- Loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off the aircraft
- Transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft
- The completion of forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described,
- Servicing of aircraft fuel and oil tanks,
- Taking stick readings, water tests of fuel tanks,
- Checking truck meter, filling fuel truck from storage tanks,
- Driving fuel truck for aircraft fueling and diesel/unleaded truck with trailer for GSE fueling operations
- Securing caps on valves after fueling operations, operating tank storage farm
- Receiving and checking deliveries of fuel and oil
- Assisting in windshields, push-out/tow aircraft and related guide man functions
- The cleaning and servicing of removing and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies, ensure each customer receives all requested services such as catering, ice, coffee, newspaper, etc., and transporting such furnishing and supplies to and from aircraft.
- May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, hangars and facilities with or without powered equipment.
- May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility and hangars,
- May be assigned to do routine automotive repair, servicing, and cleaning of powered and unpowered equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass National Air transportation Association (NATA)
- Must have good customer service.
- Must be able to communicate with different departments.
- Must be able to work in different climate conditions.
