Debra Atlas is an author, an environmental journalist, a newspaper columnist, a professional speaker and blogger. Her articles focus on outside-the-box environmental solutions as well as on mental health issues.
A long-standing member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, Debra has written or a number of online magazines and websites, including Earth Island Journal, earth911.com, FairPlanet.com and SierraClubGreenHome. For 6 years she wrote a weekly newspaper column focused on green innovations for a regional northern California newspaper.
Debra is the author of the book You Aren't Depression's Victim, an empowering, insightful guide that documents her lifetime struggle with depression, ultimately leading her to a path to a life of balance and fulfillment. She delivers engaging presentations and will be launching her new workshop based on her book later this year.
