Doors open at 5pm for a Meet & Greet with the forum scheduled from 6pm to 8pm.
Description
With the Rio Grande Valley's congressional lines having been changed, the RGV Hispanic Chamber Government Committee wishes to inform the public of their choices by introducing the running candidates for each of the Congressional districts that encompass the Valley.
Harlingen Economic Development Corporation and the Greater Harlingen Chamber of Commerce also participating.
The candidates will be asked a variety of questions regarding transportation, border issues, immigration, abortion, health, etc.

Mr. Steve Taylor of the Rio Grande Guardian and Cynthia M. Sakulenzki, President/CEO of the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will moderate each of the Forums.
"We encourage the public to attend and learn how the candidates stand on certain issues". stated Richard Sanchez, Vice Chair of Government Affairs for the RGVHCC.
Campaign materials will only be allowed during the Meet & Greet but not in the meeting areas.
