DESCRIPTION:Felida Villarreal\, President & CEO of Valley Initiative for Development &  Advancement will be the guest at the monthly "Coffee with the CEO" webinars that the RGV Hispanic Chamber hosts every month. President/CEO Cynthia M. Sakulenzki will get an opportunity to talk to Villarreal about the services V.I.D.A. Offers\, Villarreal's Journey to CEO\, etc. The free webinar is scheduled for Tuesday\, November 29th at 9am.\n\n\n\nVIDA\, responsible for implementing and maintaining regional alliances for resource development and public funding in the educational non-profit sector for workforce development. Prior to this role\, she also served as VIDA's Deputy Executive Director and Director of Finance. In addition\, she has over 8 years of accounting and financial management experience in the private and public sector among industries of healthcare\, not-for-profit\, and media\, including ranked Fortune 500 company\, Comcast/NBC Universal. \n\nFelida is a Certified Public Accountant and an active licensee of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. She holds a Master Degree of Accountancy from the University of Texas   Rio Grande Valley and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Texas   Pan American. Felida is very passionate about higher education attainment and expanding accessibility to equitable education opportunities. She believes education builds the best workforce and through human capital investment\, our communities can enhance employment opportunities and impact sustainable economic growth. \n\nFelida's character revolves around giving back to the community and creating a socioeconomic impact among our underserved demographic. For these reasons\, she actively volunteers her time to promote community involvement\, currently serving as a board director for local organization\, City of Mercedes Chamber of Commerce. She is also currently involved in leading the counseling subgroup of Hidalgo County's Prosperity Taskforce\, a recent initiative launched by Judge Richard Cortez to address the ongoing challenges of poverty and promote economic mobility through education. \n\n\n\n\n\n"We encourage the membership to tune in to get an idea of how the car dealerships function\, what opportunities there are in the industry\, etc." stated Cythia Sakulenki\, President CEO of the RGVCC.
